Den här boken fick mig att komma ur min lässvacka, den fångade mig från första sidan och det tog inte långt tid att lära känna karaktärerna. I början tyckte jag det var lite jobbigt att Alex, hans familj och vänner pratade en del spanska med varandra, mina spanskakunskaper är väldigt begränsade och jag var rädd att missa någonting. Jag förstår att författaren ville få till känslan och ett spanskt ord här och där kändes helt okej men när det började bli halva meningar eller ena halvan av en konversation så kändes det lite överkurs.
Med facit i hand får jag väl ändå säga att blandningen av språk inte gjorde så mycket, jag upplevde inte att jag missade något viktigt eller hade svårt att hänga med i handlingen, många gånger gick det ganska bra att gissa sig till vad de sa, på ett ungefär i alla fall.
